Hails maniacs!!!

Summer is definitely over! Some people prefer winter, but for me the warmer the better (hehe), for that reason I am pretty annoyed for these colder days, which are spent indoors for better comfort.

This blog has a close encounter of the fourth kind with two of our already-released-bands. I want to personally feature Profanatica and Possessed: Two major influences for the death and black metal genres.

Often cited as the "Inventors of Death Metal”, Possessed originated in San Francisco, Northern California in 1983. These very young Bay Area metalheads wanted to make the heaviest, fastest, most malevolent band of them all, and at the time they certainly were.

Possessed recorded some demos in the early 80’s, and in 1985 their first full-length, Seven Churches was released.
This blasphemous masterpiece corrupted the minds of metal youth, became a global cult favorite, and went on to be a major influence for countless bands over the past two decades.
Beyond the Gates is the follow-up to the legendary Seven Churches. Originally released by COMBAT Records on Halloween in 1986, Beyond the Gates has more of a technical thrash/death metal sound, but by no means does it lack the ferocity and obscurity heard on their debut. This would be the final full-length album from Possessed. Amazing artwork by Ed Repka. March to Die!!!

From the Second Wave of American Black Metal, Profanatica is a band made of sickness and evil!!!
Perversion, profanation, roughness, satanism, and aggression are some of the ways to describe this infested brand of black/death metal that only Profanatica can deliver!!!
After several demos, EP’s, and years desecrating the black/death scene, Profanatica recorded their first studio album. Their 2007 debut album, Profanatitas de Domonatia, was released through the mighty Hells Headbangers label(as are all Profanatica’s full-lengths). The next full-length, Disgusting Blasphemies Against God was released in 2010, followed by "Thy Kingdom Cum” in 2013. (Oh yeah! lol)
Profanatica released their fourth album "The Curling Flame of Blasphemy" on July 22nd, 2016 through Hells Headbangers Recs. (I have mine, grab yours here!!). If you never heard it before, hear the shit out of Profanatica clicking here.

SOOOOOOO everybody, now you know what you need to know. Where do we go from here? As a quick reminder we have a few items of these two mighty bands, but they're almost fully gone. Pre-orders are always the better way! Secure your item without the worry of it selling out, because remember, our releases normally are limited!

And you? Which of these two bands do you like the most? What's your favorite Death/Black metal band? Which band would you like we release? Write it in the comments box below!
